The Eastern University, Sri Lanka (EUSL) has announced the opening of applications for the BSc (Hons) in Nursing (2024/2025) – 7th Intake. The program is designed to provide registered nurses with an opportunity to advance their academic and professional qualifications through a recognized university degree.
Program Overview
The BSc (Hons) in Nursing is a two academic year program conducted in English with weekend classes, enabling working nurses to pursue higher education while continuing their professional duties.
Entry Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a Registered Nurse with the Sri Lanka Nursing Council or Sri Lanka Medical Council.
- Have a minimum of two years’ experience as a nurse after obtaining the General Nursing Diploma.
- Successfully pass the Qualifying Examination conducted by EUSL.

Candidates will be selected based on:
- Performance at the Qualifying Examination
- An interview based on merit
